13.1.1. Cookies
Profiling is based on Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. a) or f) GDPR.
We use so-called cookies in some areas of our website, e.g. to recognize visitor preferences and to be able to design the website accordingly. This enables easier navigation and a high degree of user-friendliness of a website. Cookies also help us to identify particularly popular areas of our website. Cookies are small files that are stored on a visitor's hard drive. They allow information to be retained for a certain period of time and to identify the visitor's computer.
We use permanent cookies for better user guidance and individual performance. We also use so-called session cookies, which are automatically deleted when you close your browser. You can set your browser so that it informs you about the placement of cookies. So the use of cookies becomes transparent for you. If you completely exclude the use of cookies, you may not be able to use individual functions of our website. We use the following categories of cookies on our website:
Absolutely necessary cookies: These cookies are necessary so that you can move around the website and use its functions, for example when accessing password-protected areas. Without these cookies, we cannot provide you with certain services you have requested. We use absolutely necessary cookies to clearly identify registered users so that they can be recognized during their stay and when they visit the website again.
The following cookies are used by us - provided you allow this and have not set one or more opt-out cookies - for the purpose described in more detail:
Functionality / personalization cookies: These cookies enable websites to remember your previous information (e.g. user name, language, etc.) in order to offer optimized features tailored to the visitor. For example, a website can provide you with up-to-date information by storing your current location in a cookie. These cookies are also used to retain settings that you make on the website (e.g. font or size and other options that can be adjusted by the user).
They are also used to provide services you have requested, for example when you want to watch a video. These cookies are not able to track your browser activities on other websites. They do not collect any information about you that can be used for advertising purposes and cannot understand where you have been on the Internet outside of our website. We therefore only use functionality / personalization cookies to recognize you when you visit our website again and to personalize content and save your settings.
13.1.2. Google Analytics
This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service from Google Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses so-called "cookies", text files that are saved on your computer and that enable your use of the website to be analyzed. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. However, if IP anonymization is activated on this website, your IP address will be shortened beforehand by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. The full IP address is only transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there in exceptional cases. On our behalf, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity and to provide the website operator with other services relating to website activity and internet usage. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data.
You can also prevent the storage of cookies by setting your browser software accordingly; however, we would like to point out that in this case you may not be able to use all functions of this website to their full extent. You can also prevent Google from collecting the data generated by the cookie and relating to your use of the website (including your IP address) and from processing this data by downloading and using the corresponding browser plug-in to install.
Recipient of the data: Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is stored by us for the duration determined by the purpose and then deleted. Session cookies are deleted immediately after the session. Further cookies remain longer and expire after two years at the latest.
13.1.3. YouTube video embedded via iFrame
We use YouTube, a service from Google, to show you video content. To protect your privacy, we have activated the extended data protection mode. YouTube also uses cookies to collect information about visitors to its website. YouTube uses these, among other things, to collect video statistics, to avoid fraud and to improve user-friendliness. Calling up a video usually also leads to a connection to the Google DoubleClick network. When you start the video, this could trigger further data processing, especially if you are already logged in to YouTube. We have no influence on that. You can find more information about data protection at YouTube in their data protection declaration (http://www.youtube.com/t/privacy_at_youtube) Recipient of the data: Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA Privacy Shield: https : //www.privacyshield.gov/participant? id = a2zt000000001L5AAI & status = Active
13.1.4. Social media plug-ins
We use social media buttons (YouTube, Twitter, Facebook) from Facebook Inc., Twitter Inc., Google Inc. etc. (“Provider”) on our website. These social media buttons are not integrated as plug-ins via a so-called iFrame, but are stored as links. By pressing the social media buttons, you will be forwarded directly to the page of the corresponding provider. The respective provider is then responsible for compliance with data protection regulations and for the correctness, up-to-dateness and completeness of the information provided there on data processing within the meaning of Art. 4 No. 17 GDPR.
Facebook
This website uses so-called social plug-ins from the social network facebook.com, which is operated by Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA ("Facebook"). They can usually be recognized by the Facebook logo. You can get an overview of the social plug-ins from Facebook here: http://developers.facebook.com/plugins .
When you visit this website, a connection is established between your browser and the Facebook servers. The content of the plug-in is transmitted directly from Facebook to your browser, which integrates it into the website. Unfortunately, we therefore have neither influence nor knowledge of the amount of data that Facebook collects with the help of this plug-in.
By integrating the plug-ins, Facebook receives the information that a user has called up the corresponding page of the offer. If you are logged into Facebook, Facebook can assign the visit to your Facebook account. If you select (click) the plug-ins, the corresponding information will be transmitted directly from your browser to Facebook and saved there. Even if you are not a member of Facebook, it is possible that Facebook will find out your IP address and save it. According to Facebook, however, the IP address is only stored anonymously in Germany.
Further information on the purpose and scope of data collection and the further processing and use of the data by Facebook, along with information about rights and setting options, can be found here: http://www.facebook.com/policy.php .
It is also possible to block Facebook social plug-ins with add-ons for your browser, for example with the "Facebook Blocker" or the "AdBlock Plus" add-on for Firefox. More information on this at http://t3n.de/news/blockierst-facebook-tracking-345091/ .
Google+ button
This website uses the "+1" button of the social network Google Plus, which is operated by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, United States ("Google").
When you visit this website, a connection is established with the Google servers. Since the "+1" button is transmitted directly from Google to the browser and is integrated into the website by it, we have no influence on it and no knowledge of the extent to which Google collects data with the button. Google explains to users that no personal data would be collected without clicking the button. Such data, including the IP address, would only be collected and processed from logged-in members.
Further information on the purpose and scope of the data collection, its processing and use by Google as well as their rights and setting options for the protection of their privacy can be found here: http://www.google.com/intl/de/+/policy/ +1 button.html .
Twitter
The Twitter button (retweet button) is integrated into this website. This is offered by Twitter Inc., 795 Folsom St., Suite 600, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. It can be recognized by the Twitter logo. With the button it is possible to share a post or a page of this website on Twitter or to follow us on Twitter.
When you visit this website, a connection to the Twitter servers is established. The content of the Twitter buttons is transmitted directly from Twitter to the user's browser. We therefore have no influence and no knowledge of the scope of the data collected by Twitter via the button. As far as we know, only the user's IP address and the URL of the respective website are transmitted when the button is accessed, but not used for purposes other than displaying the button.
Further information can be found in Twitter's data protection declaration at http://twitter.com/privacy .
More social media
We also use plug-ins from other social networks, which you can recognize by the corresponding symbols. This is e.g. B. linkedIn.com, WhatsApp, WeChat. If you click on a corresponding button, the desired information is transmitted directly to these companies or services and stored there. You can find information on how to deal with data protection on their website. In order to avoid communication with these networks, do not press these buttons in case of doubt or do not log in or log out there.
Foreign content
Third-party content (e.g. YouTube videos or videos from other providers, Google Maps, RSS feeds, etc.) may also be included on our website. The providers of this content usually save cookies on the user's computer. You can prevent this by making the appropriate settings in your browser, but this may mean that this content is not displayed correctly.
In addition, many (third) providers save the user's IP address in order to be able to send the corresponding content to the user's browser. Unfortunately, we have no influence on the use of the IP address by the (third-party) provider.
14. Recipients of the data
Access to your personal data stored by us is limited to our employees and the service providers commissioned by us who have to deal with this personal data due to their tasks. If third parties have access to your data, we have obtained your permission for this or there is a legal basis for this.

The servers of some of the service providers we use are located in the USA and other countries outside the European Union. Companies in these countries are subject to a data protection law that generally does not protect personal data to the same extent as is the case in the member states of the European Union. If your data is processed in a country that does not have a recognized high level of data protection like the European Union, this is done on the basis of the EU Commission's adequacy decision on the EU-US Privacy Shield in accordance with Art. 45 GDPR or the EU standard contract 2010 according to Art. 46 Para. 2 lit. c GDPR i.
